A Halle Pierre Wynants at the Brussels Morning Market

Last Monday, a hall of the largest wholesale market for gastronomy professionals was named after the famous chef of Comme chez Soi.

Often referred to as the “belly of Brussels”, the Morning Market, better known as Mabru, is a kind of real little Rungis from home. Like the famous French market, this center located on the Quai des Usines, on the edge of the canal, is an essential meeting place for anyone who has anything to do with gastronomy in our country. It offers a very wide range of products made available to “small” and “big” retailers, grocers and supermarkets, food specialists, itinerant market gardeners, buyers for communities, caterers and, of course, restaurateurs and chefs.
