Ready to take off for a delicious trip to Argentina? Take your boarding pass and fasten your seat belt, we take you to the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, to discover Asado. This new gourmet address signed Clasico Argentino gives pride of place to the essential empanadas, but also, and above all, the famous beef, so dear to the inhabitants of this beautiful South American country! Are we visiting you?
It is an address that risks satisfying the taste buds of carnivores in need of good and beautiful pieces of bidoche. Since the beginning of April 2022, a new street-food spot settled in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. It’s here, in the charming Passage of the Panoramasthat Clasico Argentino opened Asadohis new Argentinian street-food restaurant. For the less knowledgeable, we remind you that Clasico Argentino has no less than 7 addresses in the capital, all honoring the famous empanadas.
With Asado, Clasico Argentino change of concept and sees further by proposing a street food restaurant dedicated… to the Beefwhich Argentinians love. matteo zanonithe son of the founder, therefore imagined a card worthy of the “ parillas of Buenos Aires, with in particular Argentinian meat Black Angusbut also a Beef Milaneseor even the essential el chori, a sausage with Argentinian spices (pimenton and aji molido)… Three meat-based recipes available in sandwiches or on the plate. Sure, Asado don’t forget the other specialty that made the reputation of Clasico Argentinonamely the empanadasthe little stuffed turnovers offered here in a fried versionand so crispy to perfection!
And we are just starting the tasting with the excellent and ultra gourmet green empanada, stuffed with baby spinach, béchamel and mozzarella. We also love the empanada hongos made with button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, mozzarella, and emmental.
For the rest, we are inevitably seduced by the meat, offered on the platowith on one side the Carne Argentina “, a board on which are arranged Black Angus slats (150g) straight from Argentina. The dish is to be enjoyed with a delicious homemade chimichurri sauce, and is accompanied by your choice of matchstick fries in two cookings, or a salad.
