She approaches a cat in Japan and believes she is hallucinating in front of this disturbing reality
Miho Katsumi lives in Japan in the Fukui region. She recently posted photos on Instagram and Twitter that went viral on the web within minutes.
And for good reason ! Miho’s love for cats shines through in her work. Miho sews bags in the shape of cats, of an absolute realism.
The bags are sewn in fake fur, piece by piece, and Miho dyes them herself.
A small model bag generally requires 22 pieces of hand-sewn fabric. A larger model, such as the backpack, is made up of around 80 different pieces of fabric.
To make a bag, it usually takes him a week to design it and one to three months to make it!
A disturbing realism
Miho actually created true-to-life replicas of Persian, Munchkin, and British Shorthair cats.
When you see a front view of the bag in the shape of a cat, you don’t see the handles of the bag and you can completely be “cheated” into thinking it’s a real feline!
Moreover, under the photos posted on Twitter, Internet users were unanimous in indicating that they had really believed in a real cat, and it must be said that we too!
Of course, cat lovers wanted to have their bag in the shape of a cat. So much so that Miho received so many orders last year that she is not accepting new orders at this time.
In Japan, cats have a very special symbolism: they bring luck and have protective powers.
And you what do you think ? Did you also believe in a real cat?
A very comfortable cat (or bag?)
Models that are just as realistic
