the domain of Rochebois, metamorphosed, reopens

The golf driving range, the clubhouse restaurant, the Wedge, and the incredible “360 Panoramique” terrace are opening discreetly this weekend, to welcome the general public from next week. The ramp-up will then take place slowly until May 26 and the following Ascension weekend, to be “finally ready” on the maps, the organization and the opening ranges.

Target star

The work is going smoothly for the time being and the other stages of the rocket can be ignited as planned to give the Sarladais a formidable tool. In June, the gourmet restaurant and 5-star hotel part in the old castle and the two Italian-style pavilions will open with an official inauguration on June 30. On the golf side, six holes will follow with 12 “pitch and putt” tee times, a golf game format that is shorter in distance. The fitness center is planned for the beginning of July. In August, it will be the six holes of the classic golf course (nine for the 2023 season).

Despite numerous steps and a job dating at the beginning of April, there are still around thirty positions to be filled.

To oversee the gastronomy part, the Pruneyracs have found a talented young chef, Jean-Philippe Vecco, who until then was chef at the L’Arcada restaurant in Bordeaux. The star is clearly aimed at the gastronomic restaurant called “Le M”. “We are going to support it, highlight it”, specifies Laetitia Pruneyrac, wife of Thomas and director of marketing and communication for the estate.

Extraordinary view

In the meantime, tourists and Sarladais, golfers and visitors, will finally be able to return to the estate and enjoy (by reservation) the restaurant with clubhouse terrace (120 seats), the Wedge and its brasserie formulas, cured meats and cheeses at average prices. For example, the formula of the day (starter and main course or main course and dessert) will be 21 euros.

You can see the panoramic terrace from the clubhouse restaurant.

The other place with its own universe to discover is an original 400 m² terrace with an extraordinary view of the estate and the Dordogne valley, the “360 Panoramique” (also with 120 seats). As of next week, we will be able to taste there in cozy seats formulas to share with musical atmospheres. “We take it easy, warns Thomas Pruneyrac. We made a base. Then we adapt with customer feedback. »
