The young woman tells on her blog that her recipe, widely shared on social networks, has increased sales of feta cheese by 300% in Finland, causing stockouts in stores. The dish has even gone around the world, its author indicating to see photos of Internet users having tried it in Hawaii or even in Australia!

“The original recipe has 2.7 million views. Finland has 5.5 million people, to put that into perspective” writes Jenni Häyrinen.

Baked Feta Pasta ingredients for 4 people

– 450g pasta

– 200g of feta

– 10cl of olive oil

– 1/2 red pepper

– 500g of cherry tomatoes

– 4 garlic cloves (optional)

-pepper

– basil leaves

Preparation of Baked Feta Pasta

Put the oil in a baking dish. Place the feta in the middle of the dish. Slice the chilli over the feta.

Add a little more oil on top. Place the tomatoes around the feta, soaking them well in the oil. Season with pepper and add garlic if desired.

Bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees. Then grill the cheese at 225 degrees for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta al dente. Once the dish is out of the oven, crumble the feta to mix it with the tomatoes then add the pasta and the basil leaves.
